Lots of great thoughts :).

For cleaning, I suggest buying or reusing a good spray bottle, filling it with 1 part vinegar and 3 parts water, some Castille soap, and a few drops of TeaTree Oil (this is antibacterial). This is completely safe and works. And you clean everything with it!!

Baking Soda is great for scrubbing.

"Green" is very popular right now, so you have to be aware.

I breastfeed both my kids, it just worked for us. I did pump with my first one, as I was still working, and used a Medela breastpump. We used glass bottles when we did need them.

My son is not circumcised. I saw a very neutral movie on circumcision before my first child was born, and then decided against it. I would really inform myself, and get both sides before you make a decision.

Good luck Mama :)!

Good for you for educating yourself about circumcision...it is way easier for boys to be circumcised. If you are interested, I am a group leader for a group of moms who believe in circumcising, it is great place to find info and support.

I hope you'll check it out:

I've also been having the bottle/breast argument in my head over and over. I dont know why but having him actually on me freaks me out so I'm planning on pumping like a madwoman. I guess really deciding on a bottle has been bothering me. I like Avent, they have a nice variety....but then if he ends up having issues then i'm stuck with lots of bottles. So I only have 4 of that brand. Kayla could only use Dr. Browns because she had acid reflux. I really wanted to register for lots of bottles but I've come to the conclusion that you can't do that until after he comes out and he decides. About the toys for when he's older....I suggest registering for one of the big pricier toys. I decided on an adorable johnny jump up type horse, it might be a couple months til he can use it but that's a pricier thing hopefully someone will buy for the baby shower. A highchair is also something you should register for I think. Anything expensive, it gives people the choice to jointly purchase it. Well I hope some input helped. I also suggest buying a Snoogle. It is the most amazing pillow in the world. They're at Babies R Us, I bought mine a couple months ago and love it. Def worth the cost. You can use it in so many ways. Good luck!!!
