Miracle Blanket Giveaway!

In honor of my most favorite swaddle ever, I’m hosting a Miracle Blanket giveaway!  Up for grabs:

One beige/natural colored 100% cotton swaddle, pediatrician recommended, of course!  And although I’m no pediatrician, I can vouch for this one myself!

This is all you have to do-

If you have a baby, leave a comment about one specific hectic night sans sleep.  For example: The night John and I held Camper up as if he were crawling on the ceiling while singing “Spider baby, spider baby…”  (Yeah, that was a real low point in our sleep deprivation days.  At least Camper seemed to be having fun.)

If you have a baby on the way or know someone who could use it as a gift, nominate yourself or friend by commenting on your fears/questions about sleeping post baby.  Or not sleeping, post baby, as the case may be.

And if you don’t fit either of those categories and still want it, hey, be my guest.  Just comment and state your case, and we’ll see!

The giveaway will be open until 12am February 28th, at which time we let Bubby choose a number and a winner! (That next morning anyway, he’s rarely up at midnight anymore!)

Hey! Thanks for letting me know about this! I have read so much about the miracle blanket and would LOVE to try it out.

I’ve read on so many blogs (and asked friends/family) about sleepless nights and techniques used but yours is truly the only one I’ve read where you actually found something that worked 99% of the time. Anything that is proven to work that well is definitely worth a shot in my book!!

I have three friends who are expecting and we are also trying to conceive. So if I am the lucky one, I will have to have a mini-draw at our house to see which of the four of us gets it! I’ve heard about these Miracle blankets online, but have never tried one. Everything I’ve heard has been good!

Hey there. I have lots of expecting friends too, and I’m kicking myself for not getting one of these early on.

Also, RE baby sleeping on stomach. Right around 4 months he stopped wanting to be swaddled and so we had to just experiment to try to determine how he wanted to sleep. Sometimes it was side, but mostly it was stomach. Then we would gently pat him on the back (not sure if this was a good habit to start though) to help him to sleep. Sometimes he now wakes up on his back, but it’s good to know he can roll over if he wants to. I have absolutely no fears with him sleeping that way, despite what all the lit says…

    So that’s my story.

My mom and I volunteer every Wednesday at a soup kitchen in a nearby city. There is a woman who is pregnant that comes there, her husband lost his job. I would love to win this and my mom and I could add it to her things we’ve been collecting for her baby.

My worst sleep night was when we took our 3 month old daughter to a family reunion sleep out… in July…. in Texas…. Luckily it was at a lake so the days were spent standing in the water making sure she stayed in the shade and wet. The nights were still in the 90′s and in a tent she really didn’t do well. She threw up my sleeping bag, so we moved it out of the tent and all slept on Dad’s sleeping bag. Well, she did it again. (And this was not just a little spit up. Think projectile vomiting in an enclosed area.)
So I took her and went to the car, turned it on (with AC) and spent the night with the front seat leaned back and her on my chest.
The next morning I put my foot down and we got a hotel room for the rest of the stay.

I have a new grand baby that I would love to give the blanket to.
    Thanks!

My son had bad reflux. Many a night we would hear the familiar sound of him puking followed by him screaming at being woke up. Our routine was that DH would change the bed while I cleaned up the baby. On a rare occasion he would fall back to sleep. Usually though, I would have to strap him in the baby sling and wall up and down the living room until he calmed down and fell back to sleep.

I have a dear friend who is expecting in July. She already has one child, so I think she is afraid that the baby will keep her toddler up.
    Thanks for the giveaway!

I have a friend who is due in May. I know myself all too well about those sleepless nights. I have a 2 yr old who still gets up twice every single night and is up at 6am almost daily. I dont know if this will ever end, but I do wish they sold ambien for babies. lol
