After an hour of boiling, skinning, and chopping carrots into tiny toddler-sized pieced (Bubbs like to CHEW food now) I realize: what I’ve just made looks an awful lot like frozen carrots. As in, the kind from the store. As in, I’m going to freeze these so how is what I made any better? Oh my. The things we do for our kids.

I love you!
If it’s not cheaper (and in this case, probably not…carrots is carrots), then I’d opt for the easier way. It’s the little packs of baby food that I hate spending so much money on, when it’s much cheaper to just do it myself.
Ha, I wonder this every time I spend an hour making her 8 ounces of food. But, my 2 older ones are super healthy kids, so I guess I am stuck sticking with what works.
