Stew is getting better in the water and I am really working with him right now. Although while we were at the lake a couple weeks ago I put Ash in and she loved it. I am hoping to start working with her as well.

Hooray for you guys! Zoey loves the pool at the Y...we want to get her in swim lessons ASAP, since the extent of my swim knowledge includes a not-so-hot doggy paddle and a need to still plug my nose every time I go under water. ;-) Isn't the Y fantastic??

I watched this video, and just wondered, how in the heck could you let your child go long enough to let them learn, that would be the hard part. Kayla and I went to the pool last week, she is big enough to swim some, but still not real strong at it. I could not let her more than a few inches from me at any time, even tho she said, Tete, that is not what the teacher did...LOL... I was totaly afraid to let her do what i knew she could do..I was just too nervous.
I do think they need to know how to do this, I am just not able to teach it to them. I would go nuts if I saw one of the kids in the pool like this, the video made me want to jump in to save them.

I just watched the video and as soon as the baby started crying Cutter paused, looked all serious and came running over like he knew the baby was in trouble. It was adorable, then he watched. I dont think that will teach him though, so I might test this out too.
