He started to wrap his head up in the big blanket, so I took it out of his crib. He slept as close to it as humanely possible.
Then I found him like this.
Is it possible for my kid to jump out of his crib once he figures out he can stand all the way up? Because now I’m worried…

You are talking about two diff skills… jumping and standing. Once he learns to pull himself up to stand (skill #1) it will be a while before he gets enough skills to jump (skill #2) far enough into the air to clear the side of his crib. I don’t even think he’ll be able to get his leg up far enough to climb (skill #3) out of his crib… for a while yet anyway.
I wasn’t worrying about jumping out of the crib, I was thinking how sad that he didn’t have his blanket. If he loves it that much maybe you should cut it into a smaller size that he won’t burrito himself in.
We had to put Zoey in a big girl bed before she was two because she was an acrobat who was THIS close to breaking her leg (again) by jumping out of her crib. But not to worry, he’s not quite strong enough (yet!) to jet himself out of there. And what’s cuter than a baby standing up and waiting for you to come get him from his crib??? Darling!
