The spinach quiche turned out pretty good last night. But I found out two things. I don’t like spinach. And I don’t like quiche. Go figure. I’m thinking next time I just need to make it a bit more savory, maybe add some bacon, or some…flavor. Yeah. Tonight was roast chicken, which I make because a) it staves off the need for KFC b) it’s cheap, yo and c) tomorrow I can make POT PIE. Everyone loves a good pot pie. I got a little freaked though, because after roasting the chicken forever and ever I took it out to carve it and my knife immediately hit bone. I started cursing WalMart, letting off a few comments about how they sold me a stupid, meatless chicken with weird, freakish bones sticking up in odd places. Stupid skinny mutant chicken. Then John came in and told me to flip it over. Lo and behold, I found the meat. Yup. Cooking is going well, I’d say. Going well indeed.
